BuzzFeed is primed to open two convenience stores in New York City’s LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal C as part of an exclusive tie up with airport retailer Stellar Partners.
The two stores will stock magazines, travel supplies, snacks, beauty products, lifestyle items, and other traditional convenience goods.
BuzzFeed monitors inside the store will help travellers stay connected with the latest news and entertainment.
“We’ll utilize our data-driven research and insights to give consumers a curated travel experience with the products they want most,” BuzzFeed senior vice president of consumer products Melanie Summers said in a statement.
The news and entertainment brand opened its first Camp experiential toy stores in New York City.
In 2019, the company aimed to hit $260 million in BuzzFeed product sales, which were primarily led by food and a line of exclusive Walmart cookware released under its Tasty subsidiary.
