Portland Trail Blazers All-Star guard Damian Lillard will return to Portland’s lineup for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the team announced. Lillard has missed the past five games due to an abdomen injury.
Lillard is averaging 21.5 points, 7.8 assists and four rebounds a contest this year. He’ll be a major addition to a team that has dropped its last four games and seven of the last eight. Portland sits in ninth place in the Western Conference at 11-15 on the season and are 1.5 games back of the Dallas Mavericks.
