OhioHealth OB/GYNs To Care For Patients In Shelby – Richland Source

MANSFIELD – OhioHealth Physician Group Obstetrics and Gynecology, currently located at the Medical Offices at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, expanded to 24 Morris St., Suite 3, in Shelby, on January 31. Both locations are accepting new patients.

The Shelby practice is located in the former practice of Dr. Omar Guimaraes, who is preparing for retirement.

The OB/GYN practice providers in Shelby include certified nurse midwife Laura Masimore and OB/GYN Dr. Terry Grogg, who will both see patients at the Shelby office and deliver babies at Shelby Hospital. In addition, Dr. Grogg will perform obstetric and gynecologic surgeries at Shelby Hospital. Dr. Guimaraes will continue to provide OB/GYN hospitalist coverage at Shelby Hospital through March 31.

Patients of Dr. Guimaraes with appointments scheduled after January 30 will be seen by OhioHealth OB/GYN providers in Shelby. Appointments at the Shelby practice can be scheduled by calling 419-342-2900.
