A 23-year old of Clearbrook (MN) man drove a pickup into the east side of the Loaf-n-Jug building at 4326 Gateway Drive this morning (11:19 a.m.)
According to Grand Forks police the initial investigation indicates that the driver was attempting to pull into a parking spot on the east side but did not stop in time and struck the building. There was significant damage to the side of the convenience store and minor damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was a 2012 Chevy Silverado.
The GFPD says Wyatt Gerlofs was not injured but an employee of the store received minor injuries from flying debris. The employee was treated on scene but was not transported.
Authorities say Gerlofs was issued a citation for Driving under Revocation and Care Required.
