Two members of a Provo family have died following a crash near St. George on the Arizona side of the border.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety told 2News the crash happened on Dec. 29 at approximately 9:45 p.m.

A passenger car, a Mustang sedan, was driving on Interstate 15 at milepost 28 when a semi pulled out into the southbound lane from a dirt parking area.
The driver of the Mustang failed to see the semi and crashed into the rear trailer.
The 55-year-old father and his son sustained fatal injuries in the crash. An 11-year-old girl was transported to the hospital.

Witnesses said the tractor-trailer did not have its rear trailer lights on when it pulled onto the Interstate.
They also said multiple cars had to swerve to avoid crashing into the semi.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
