Search continues for missing boater following accident on Pearl River
BOGALUSA, La. (WGNO) — Police in Washington Parish have announced the names of the two men who disappeared following a boating accident at Poole’s Bluff. While one victim has been located, the search continues for a Holden, La., man.
On Tuesday, the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office identified one victim as Joe Newby of Covington, La. Police say Newby’s body was recovered from Pearl River after he drowned either late Monday or early Tuesday.

Sheriff: Michigan shooting suspect met with school over ‘concerning’ behavior just before violence
OXFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NewsNation Now) — A Michigan teenager has been charged with murder, terrorism and other charges for a shooting that killed four fellow students and injured others at Michigan’s Oxford High School.
Charges against 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley were announced Wednesday, a few hours after authorities reported the death of a fourth teen from the school in southeastern Michigan. Crumbley is charged as an adult.

A crisp fall evening for our first night of December
Happy December! More great fall weather is on the way as we start out the final month of 2021. It doesn’t look like winter comes back anytime soon but that will mean pleasant weather for the next several days. The only real issue looks like it might be some fog by Friday morning through the weekend as humidity moves back into the area.
Otherwise, temperatures will continue to be above average through the weekend. Look for lows tonight to drop to around 50 to the north with upper 50s south. Thursday will be mild with mid-70s.
